Likes:

Solitude. Even as a child, he always preferred his own company. He isn't antisocial, he'd just rather be on his own to allow him to think.
Wine. The smooth, sophisticated taste of wine always appealed to him.
Kobe Beef. As a man with rich tastes and rather deep pockets, the meat said to be the best in the world appeals greatly to him.

Dislikes:

Crime/Evil. As a man with a deeply ingrained sense of justice, right and wrong, crime and evil are synonymous to him, and the epitome of everything he has committed his life to fight.
Murder and murderers. To him, the act of ending another person's life is unspeakably evil and always deserve the death penalty.
Meat that isn't cooked right. If he's paying for it, it should be made perfectly to his order.

Motivations:

Eradicating evil. Ever since he was a boy, he hated evil and made it his personal mission to wipe it from the world, and crime along with it. This occurred because when he was seven, his parents were murdered before his eyes by a creature of the dark.
Helping orphans. Ryoshi always had a special place in his heart for orphans.
Becoming the Guild Master of his own guild. He has had this dream in his heart since he was a small child: to found his own guild and bring light to the entire world, eradicating the darkness.

Fears:

Failing to achieve his goals. If he fails the task he gave himself, he will have dishonored himself and his father, something he wishes to avoid very much.
Becoming attached to or feeling love towards someone. Ever since he was a young boy, he held it in his mind that to love is to destroy, and to be loved is to be destroyed. Unwilling to destroy himself or others, he does his best to avoid attraction and attachment.
Death. Death means the end of his mission which he most likely failed to accomplish. It also means the end of something he had grown most fond of: life.
The dark. Ever since his parents were killed by a creature of darkness, he has always had minor nyctophobia.
